Child Safety Policy

Children's safety is the reason Totler exists and it shapes every design decision. Totler Pty Ltd (ABN 23 699 604 656 · ACN 699 604 656) is committed to being a child-safe organisation and aligns its approach with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. This policy explains how safety is built into the product, not bolted on. Our Child Safety Officer is reachable at support@totler.com.au.

Children are never users, and never public

Only adults hold accounts on Totler. Children cannot sign up, sign in, appear in search, or be discovered or contacted through the platform. There is no path by which a stranger can find, message or reach a child on Totler.

No public child data

We do not collect personal information directly from children, and no child's personal information is ever displayed publicly. Where a parent adds details for their own private planning, we ask for a birth yearonly, never a full date of birth, and that information stays private to the parent's account.

A provider's exact location stays hidden until you've booked

Public listings show only an approximate area, such as a suburb. A provider's exact address is revealed only after a booking or RSVP is confirmed, and only to the confirmed family. This prevents precise locations tied to children's activities from being browsed by anyone.

Verified providers

We require activity providers to hold and maintain the working-with-children clearance required in their state or territory: a Working With Children Check, or a Blue Card in Queensland. We verify clearances when a provider joins and re-check them at least annually and on expiry. Verification is a safeguard, not a guarantee, and we encourage families to stay engaged and raise anything that doesn't feel right.

Report a safety concern

If something doesn't seem right, please tell us. Email support@totler.com.au and we will review it promptly. If a child is in immediate danger, call 000 now.
